"my friend jigme" is a series of photographs taken by three tibetan monks living in exile in dharmasala, india. the full piece includes stories written about their life in tibet, and their escape to india where his holiness the dalai lama lives. after striking up a friendship of ten years with a tibetan monk, who i met while traveling in india, (my friend Jigme), i shipped him a box of disposable cameras. these are their images.
